For the purposes of healing the past could be understood as only being a concept, a perception of the Mind. Thus through the mind one can for the purpose of healing revisit the past, so to speak and deal with blockages, trauma and other unresolved issues. This ritual uses this concept of the Eternal Now to access and release past traumas that are suppressed or forgotten by the conscious mind. It can be done with a focus on the current life which later can be extended to branches of maternal or paternal past family lineage trauma.
