The turning of the age
This man lived for "black" freedom
Dessalines, a Black Messiah(warrior king) in every essence, invoked the mighty African war god, Ogun, during the ritual at "Bwa Kayiman." There, a black Haitian pig was sacrificed to secure divine intervention in the struggle against the French, then the dominant force in internationalist global military affairs. In the face of overwhelming odds, Dessalines, fortified by the support of Ogun, orchestrated a triumphant revolution that shattered the chains of slavery and birthed the liberation of Haiti. This pack was later broken by the Christian “mulatto” coup, which abounded the deity energy of Ogun and led to Haiti losing its divine African protection.
